There is also no traffic info and alternate routes as these features require the internet. Downloaded maps can expire and have to be updated before they do. Not all features are available with offline maps. Select Offline maps in the menu and choose a downloaded map to use.
To access downloaded maps, open the Maps app and tap the profile icon at the top right corner of the screen. Users can download multiple offline maps for different areas. After choosing the area to be downloaded, tap the Download button at the bottom of the screen. The larger the area of the map to be downloaded, the more space it will require on the device. The size of the map will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Users can pinch to zoom out to cover more areas not shown in the box.
